BACKSTORY
Born just on the outskirts of Ul'dah, Clo never found herself wanting for much. She was born an only child to her mother and father, and was seen to them as a blessing. Her mother, more so, because she was told day in and out that with eyes as rare as hers that shone like jewels, that she was a gift from the twelve and the rarest of all.
Though the other children sought fit to bully her for her differences, calling her names and bullying her day after day.
It wouldn't take much time for her father to see just what was happening, though there was not else he could do, but send her away for proper training so that she might learn to protect and stand up for herself. Thus, he sent her off to the Pugilist's guild to be trained.
She found enjoyment in it, for a time, and trained hard to bring pride and joy back to her family. Though one day she happenstanced passed by the Quicksand, where a Bard had stationed themselves to play, and found herself seated, watching, for hours. She didn't want to be a Puglist or a Monk; she didn't want to have to put the fear of the twelve at her fist for someone to understand that what they did or would do to her was wrong.
With her home not far, she would return there and tell her parents of her discovery. Her father, immediatly opposed her, but her mother, with her kindness and understanding, offered her a chance to prove herself.
Not long after, came the war. And with no other men in the household, her father was sent off to fight and never returned; lost to the war. There was no body, only a letter delivered from one of the officers, and a scrap of his uniform.
Her mother carried on, however, raising Clo as best she could and watching her blossom into the woman she was to become, eventually passing on herself.
Clo believes that her mother's passing was caused by a broken heart - waiting for the day for her father to return home.
In her travels, however, she would find that she also would find an affinity for magic; be it light, or dark. However, she prefers healing, over the latter.
biography
A happy go lucky Miqo'te, born and raised in Uldah, in a village just outside of town by her parents.
Originally bred and trained to be a monk, she sought something entirely different for herself and pursued being a Bard instead, despite her Father's wishes.
She never picked up the harp to play, however, but always favored archery above all else.
But now, she can indeed be found playing a tune now and again, mostly around her friends, or if she finds herself bored in the streets of Ul'dah.
Is shy and quiet upon her first meeting, easily embarrassed, but inquisitive. But will become talkative once she feels comfortable with/around you.
Really does not like drawing any sort of attention to herself, if she can help it.
Will open up about her past if questioned about it, but it will make her solemn.
